Walk into Sambrook House and you'll be impressed by the warmth of the welcome.  Sambrook House is situated in the centre of the picturesque village of Sambrook, which is about 5 miles north of Newport and within easy travelling from Telford, Market Drayton and Stafford.  Established in 1985, the home has considerable charm and character and is built around the old village school house, which has been extensively refurbished and extended.

Sambrook House is registered for 28 elderly residents. It comprises 3 double bedrooms, 9 single bedrooms and 13 single bedrooms with en-suite facilities. It also has a large conservatory, 2 lounges, a dining room and gardens.

Our aim at Sambrook House is to create a warm, homely and comfortable environment in which to live. A choice of food is offered at all meal times and is prepared daily from fresh produce. For residents who wish to participate, regular entertainments and outings  are organised. We never forget that this is our residents' home and so encourage individuality and freedom of choice. Relatives are always welcome and encouraged to get involved in the activities taking place in the home.
Sambrook House is a no-smoking home within the building. It is however, recognised that we occasionally accept residents that do smoke, and they stay on the understanding that smoking is only permitted outside the building.

We have provided a lit and heated summer-house in the walled back garden (smoking is no longer permitted in this outbuilding since the change in the law).
